Michelle Donahue

Michelle is an Environmental Technician with a four year Bachelor of Environmental Management degree from the University of Queensland, Australia. Michelle majored in Natural Systems and Wildlife and has experience in plant and wildlife research programs. These include the research in the control of weed plant species and wildlife observation studies. Michelle's duties include pre-construction site assessment, wildlife studies, reclamation and environmental monitoring. Her education specializes in land use and management, plant and wildlife release and control and ecology. She also has a background in beef cattle production.

Michelle carries certificates in H2S Alive, First Aid, CPR, AED, Ground Disturbance, TDG and WHIMIS.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Lethbridge and also holds a Diploma in Renewable Resource Management from Lethbridge Community College. Richard has worked in the Environmental Sciences field since 2000 and the Environmental Enforcement field since 1994. Richard has experience in Phase l, ll and lll environmental assessments, environmental protection plans, impact assessments, wildlife and vegetation risk assessments, pre-construction site assessments, drilling waste management, site/flare pit reclamation and environmental auditing and monitoring. Richard's particular area of expertise is with environmental pre-construction assessments, protection plans, impact assessments and wildlife and plants impact assessments.

Ben is an Environmental Technician and has his three year Agricultural diploma from the University of Saskatchewan. Ben has been employed with Three Star Environmental for four years and works out of the Shaunavon office. He has practical experience in drilling, completions and production aspects of oilfield operations. Ben duties include: drilling waste management, pre construction site assessment, contaminated soil reclamation, and environmental monitoring. Ben's Ag background and education include: rangeland plant identification and management, plant ecology, Ag production and practices, soil classification, and land use assessment.

Ben carries certificates in Petroleum Safety Training, H2S Alive, First Aid, CPR, WHMIS, TDG, and Ground Disturbance.

Renette Garbutt, B. Sc., Environmental Scientist

Renette holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Land Use and Environmental Studies and a Certificate in Physical Geography from the University of Saskatchewan. Renette has been an employee of Three Star Environmental for two years. She works out of the Alida field office as an Environmental Scientist. Renette has worked in the field of Environmental Sciences since 2006. Renette has experience in both field and report preparation for wildlife and vegetation risk assessments, pre-construction site assessments, environmental monitoring, environmental protection plans, wellsite abandonment, water well testing, commercial and industrial Phase I and Phase II assessments, impact assessments and drilling waste management.

Renette carries certificates in H2S Alive, First Aid, CPR, WHMIS, Ground Disturbance, PST, Confined Space, ATV Safety, TDG and Safety Management and Regulatory Awarreness for Wellsite Supervisor.

Dean has completed three years of a four year Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Regina and is currently enrolled in long distance education programs to complete the B.Sc. requirements and to receive his diploma in Forestry and Wildlife Conservation. Dean works in the Alida field office as a Senior Technician / Project Coordinator. Dean has worked in the field of Environmental Sciences for over 15 years. Dean has experience in Phase l, ll and lll environmental assessments, environmental protection plans, impact assessments, wildlife and vegetation risk assessments, pre-construction site assessments, drilling waste management, site/flare pit reclamation and environmental auditing and monitoring. Dean's particular area of expertise is with environmental pre-construction assessments, protection plans, impact assessments and wildlife and plants impact assessments.

Dean carries certificates in Petroleum Safety Training, H2S Alive, First Aid, CPR, Ground Disturbance, WHMIS, TDG and Regulatory Awareness for Well Site Supervision and carries a class 1A licence with a clean abstract.

Sherri holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Geography from the University of Regina, minoring in Biology. As a new employee, Sherri brings academic, technical and field skills to Three Star Environmental. She has background experience with primary data collection field work, Species at Risk grassland songbird surveying, GIS software, and environmental research and reporting.

Sherri carries certificates in H2S Alive, First Aid & CPR, WHIMS, Confined Space and Ground Disturbance.

Don has obtained a Renewable Resource Technician Diploma from the Kelsey Institute in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Don has been employed with Three Star Environmental for six months and is presently working the Assiniboia, Weyburn and Shaunavon areas as an Environmental Monitor. Don has worked as a Conservation Officer and Renewable Resources / Wildlife Technician for over 27 years and is called upon for his expertise by each of the field offices as required.

Don carries certificates in Petroleum Safety Training, H2S Alive, First Aid, CPR, WHMIS and TDG.


Bob Phair, C.E.T., Project Coordinator

Bob has obtained a diploma in Chemical Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary, Alberta. Bob has been employed with Three Star Environmental Services for seven years and coordinates projects from each of the field offices. Bob has worked in the field of Environmental Science for over 32 years. As a Project Coordinator Bob's duties involve overseeing a wide range of field environmental testing and clean-up operations. Bob's particular area of expertise is water/waste water treatment and he has worked in the area of drilling waste disposal area since 1978.

Bob carries certificates in Petroleum Safety Training, H2S Alive, First Aid, CPR, WHMIS, TDG, Well Site Supervision, Confined Space Entry and Ground Disturbance. He has recently completed OH & S level 1 and 2.


Danyelle Thompson, B.Sc.A, P.Ag., Professional Agrologist

Danyelle is a Professional Agrologist with the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists and completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan. She has been employed with Three Star Environmental Corp since 2005 and has been working in the Environmental Sciences field since 2003. Danyelle has experience in both field and report preparation for wildlife and vegetation risk assessments, pre-construction site assessments, site/ flare pit reclamation, Phase I and II environmental assessments, environmental monitoring, environmental protection plans, water well and gas migration testing, impact assessments and drilling waste management.

Danyelle carries certificates in Petroleum Safety Training, H2S Alive, First Aid & CPR Instructor, WHMIS, Ground Disturbance, Confined Space, TDG and ATV Safety Course. She also has completed the OH & S safety and supervision and OH & S level 1 and 2 courses.
